Top loader (Cons)

  4. Ongoing maintenance cost increasing

Front loader (Pros)

  2. Create a cleaner washing effect
  3. Less detergent needed
  4. Do not spoilt the laundry like the top loader
  5. Shorter washing cycle as the spinning process is faster

Front loader (Cons)

  1. Adding clothing during the washing cycle is not allowed
  2. Tends to crease the laundry more than a top loader
  3. Bigger size and heavier than a top loader
  4. Initial cost is higher than a top loader

Based on the above comparison, you should now have a clearer idea on the factors that determine the best washer dryer which work for you and your family best. For instance, a single living in an upper story apartment may consider a top loader as it is lighter and save space that would suit you well. Unless you have a large family and the laundry room is built on the ground floor, then consider a front loader as your first choice.
